Who we are

Lia Labs runs the Lia app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Your account details from the way you sign in (such as your name and email from Apple, Google or another provider), your username, and what you do in the app: mining sessions, check-ins, spins, tasks, steps you choose to share, invites, sends, friends and chat messages. We also collect technical details like your device type, app version, language, time zone and push notification token.

How we use it

To run your account and pay your rewards, show boards and invites, deliver chat messages and notifications in your language, keep Lia safe and fair (for example finding fake accounts and abuse), fix problems, and improve the app.

Steps

If you turn on Strides, Lia reads your step count from your phone to pay your step rewards. We only use the number of steps, and you can turn it off in your phone's settings at any time.

Ads

Lia uses Google AdMob to show ads. Google may use your device's advertising identifier and other information to show and measure ads, depending on your choices. On iPhone you choose whether apps can track you, and you can change your ad privacy choices on Me.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us run Lia, such as cloud hosting (Cloudflare), notifications (Firebase) and ads (Google). Other users see your username, your place on boards, and what you send them. We don't sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, your account, $LIA, friends and chats are removed. Some records may be kept for a short time where the law requires it or to prevent abuse.

Your choices

You can change your notification settings, your ad privacy choices and step access at any time, and delete your account from Me. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct or delete your information; contact us to ask.

Children

Lia isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. If the changes are important, we'll tell you in the app.
